We had no professional teams, you can go up north or down south for that. I have become a great fan of hockey and I have watched tons of people hop on this ban waggon. If the team plays well and gives us the heart that they did last season financially they will bail themselfs out. if they struggle they will loose income its as simple as that. They need to worry about generating a bigger fan base and being apart of the community. If they fail its because of their contributions to thier city. Columbus will jump aboard! Go Jackets!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5796383459721793585.post-75867123495531822312009-12-07T17:30:49.250-05:002009-12-07T17:30:49.250-05:00What all these people forget is that they support ...What all these people forget is that they support everything OSU, whether or not they like the school and it's programs. I, for one, could care less for OSU athletics and don't like my tax money going to support that type of waste of $$$. So why is a public/private partnership (and use of tax $$$) any different from ALL OF US do already with OSU? I don't want to hear the tired, old excuse that they are a public school. I say this OSU fans: we already help you with $$$ (not by choice); it's time for you to pony up and help the only Major League franchise in this city.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
