Nash Takes Vancouver, Game 6

The 2010 Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Tournament came to a close on Sunday, and Rick Nash and his Canadian teammates got their Gold Medal.

Nash led Canada with 5 shots on goal from the checking line that he shared with Jonathan Toews and....was it Mike Richards?  (I should ask Pierre McGuire, he would know where Richards played!)  It's funny that he started the tournament as a projected top scorer and ended it playing some of the roughest defense that we've ever seen from him.  Whatever it takes to win!

Canada coach Mike Babcock singled Nash and Toews out as Canada's top performers yesterday.  The CBC said, "Rick Nash was easily Canada’s top performer against the U.S. on Sunday."  Plaudits like that go to a deserving champion.

Congratulations, Rick!  It's been one wild tournament ride for you - and your fans!
