YESTERDAY: If it could go wrong for the Columbus Blue Jackets, it did.  Every single game went against the Boys in Union Blue's playoff chances.

• Predators beat Blue Jackets
• Blackhawks beat Coyotes in a shootout
• Ducks beat Avalanche
• Flames beat Blues

After the dust settled from all that carnage, the CBJ's playoff chances dropped by 9.4% to 19.6%.  Thanks for nothing, NHL War Room.

TODAY: Just two games on the NHL Trade Deadline day docket of Games That Matter...

• Blackhawks beat Wild
• Red Wings beat Kings

The CBJ are still in 12th place, four points out of 8th and 6 points out of 4th.  They have between one and three games in hand on every team in the Western Conference.
